Friday saw the release of "Windows 8 Release Preview" which it the final release before the final RTM Version.

The new site windows 8 site is available to everyone and you can download the latest release candidate as well as other great assets such as Visual Studio 2012 and the Windows 8 Sample Apps. This provides a huge opportunity to start creating Metro Apps that can provide integration with the New Mosaic Start Menu. The sample apps contain examples from dynamically updating the application tiles on the start menu to examples that demonstrate how two applications can provide each other with data.
