Meeting Workplace is missing from Outlook 2010!

How to add the "Meeting Workspace" icon to the Meeting request ribbon

For some reason the "Meeting Workspace" icon has been removed from the Outlook 2010 Meeting Request ribbon. If you follow these simple steps you can easily add the "Meeting Workspace" icon back to the ribbon.

 

Instructions

Operations

Open a New meeting request.

  1. Release left button on the [New Meeting] drop down button and select "New Meeting".

 

Customize the ribbon.

  1. Open [Menu Group] menu.

 

  1. Click [Customize the Ribbon].

Add a custom group.

  1. Click the [Appointment] heading.

     

  2. Click the [New Group] button.

Rename the "New Group" to "SharePoint".

  1. Click the [Rename] button.

 

  1. In the [Display name] box, type [SharePoint].

 

  1. Click [OK] button.

Add the "Meeting Workspace" button to the ribbon.

  1. Click the [Meeting Workspace].

 

  1. Click the [Add >>] button.

 

  1. Notice the "Meeting Workspace" icon now appears under the "SharePoint (Custom)" group.

 

  1. Click the [OK] button.
 
  1. Notice the [Meeting Workspace] button now appears on the ribbon of the meeting request ribbon.
